| Nigel earned a bachelor\'s degree from The Illinois Institute of Art Chicago and a master\'s from the Designer as Author program at The School of Visual Arts in New York. Somewhere in between the two degrees, Nigel worked for Firebelly Design as a designer, and at Motorola developing icons and user interface for the company\'s mobile phones. Nigel is now Senior Designer at alfalfa studio in New York, where he spends most of his time listening to tango music as he designs away for a variety of clients ranging form small non-profit to big international companies. In addition, he is brand consultant for Alexander West, brand manager for sitoes in Indonesia, and a freelance designer for various clients, while developing his personal pet project, Corse. All hard work comes with a prize; Nigel\'s work has been awarded the Certificate of Typographic Excellence, twice by the Type Directors Club New York, Adobe Design Achievement Award semi finalist.
